Arizona Sunshine

Arizona Sunshine’s first gameplay for Oculus Quest revealed

Creeping for the holidays.

Ever wonder what it’s like to battle zombies in virtual reality? It appears that Vertigo Games and Jaywalkers Interactive have just the opportunity for you. These teams have introduced a new gameplay video for Arizona Sunshine. First announced back in 2015 and launching the following year on several VR headsets, the game is now coming to Oculus Quest in just a few days. It looks to be a tense experience for VR players, based on the footage.

Are you ready for Arizona Sunshine?

The video features the game’s classic southwestern America design, including both bright desert canyons and dark mines to explore. Whichever route you take, however, hungry zombies await your arrival.

With the game being rebuilt in its entirety for this port to Oculus Quest, Arizona Sunshine promises to be a fresh experience. What’s more, it’s one that you can take on with friends, as the game supports up to four players at a time. But watch your back — while playing this game, you’ll find threats coming at you in a full 360-degree environment. Talk about trying to stay alive in the sunshine.

The game also lets you handle weapons with real-life movements, allowing you to strike at zombies with vivid reality. You’ll need whatever survival skills you can muster in order to survive what comes at you.

Furthermore, to celebrate Arizona Sunshine‘s third anniVRsary (as the teams call it), there’s a contest happening. Players have the opportunity to win their own VR headset, as well as t-shirts, stickers, and more. It’s also a good opportunity to attempt to win a beta key for the After the Fall project as well. Details are available on the official website.

Check out the gameplay video below and prepare to play Arizona Sunshine like never before on Oculus Quest! It arrives on December 5, with more details on the official Oculus page. It’s also available for pre-order on Steam.
