Arma 3 in VR demonstrated with the Cyberith Virtualizer

Cyberith are back with a new demonstration of their VR treadmill, the Cyberlith Virtualizer. After the demonstration of GTA IV on the PC, this time Arma 3 is brought to life in VR.

Running and shooting stuff is not all that’s on show here: using VorpX to add Arma 3 compatibility for the Oculus Rift, there’s crouching, crashing choppers and flying jets.  What I like about the Cyberlith is the ability to sit which makes vehicle control more intuitive.

Right now if it was a toss up between the Virtuix Omni or the Cyberith, I would have to go for the Cyberith. Shame I don’t have any room for one right now.

More videos are planned for other games such as Battlefield 3, Battlefield 4, Left 4 Dead 2, Call of Duty: Ghosts, Skyrim, Crysis 2, Crysis 3, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and Second Life.

Watch Cyberith founder Tuncay Cakmak go to war.
