arma 3 again

If you fancy giving soldier sim Arma 3 a try without paying for it, you can do so on Steam this weekend.

And, er, that’s basically the entire news story. Oh! It’s worth noting that¬†Arma 3 is also 50% off for the weekend, so if you like it, you can purchase it for ¬£17.99… which still isn’t exactly cheap, but hey, you can at least try the game for free first.

If you want to give Arma 3 a whirl, head on over to the game’s Steam page. You’ve got until Sunday afternoon.

Tim has been playing PC games for longer than he’s willing to admit. He’s written for a number of publications, but has been with PC Invasion – in all its various incarnations – for over a decade. When not writing about games, Tim can occasionally be found speedrunning terrible ones, making people angry in Dota 2, or playing something obscure and random. He’s also weirdly proud of his status as (probably) the Isle of Man’s only professional games journalist.

Arma is one of those games where it’s concepts far out match the actual fun of playing it. This is why you see it being praised all over the internet, but rarely played in reality. I find it to be a huge tedious bore with little pay off. Granted it’s almost like the real thing, that is also a negative because it’s as boring if not more than the real thing.

      Can’t beat free though!
