Cheng’s comments on his personal blog that the Natal API should be opened up for a “killer app” and that it seems “wasted on games” have been reported across the web today.

“I am greatly confused why it is a story,” Cheng said. “It is just my personal opinion, not an official company position.”

He also informed us that his blog post was actually inspired by another, made by John Gruber. Cheng’s original post has been updated to reflect this.
