Assassin’s Creed 3 on course to be Ubi’s most pre-ordered game ever

Assassin’s Creed 3 is on course to become Ubisoft’s most pre-order title ever, the publisher has announced.
Just three week since the game was officially announced, pre-order numbers are higher than any other game in the Assassin’s Creed franchise. The game is currently available to pre-order in three different editions.
“The production value of the game, combined with the biggest marketing commitment we’ve ever made, will make Assassins Creed III the highest-selling Assassin’s Creed game ever,” said Tony Key, senior vice president of Ubisoft sales and marketing. “Additionally, the new setting and hero makes this the perfect time to jump into the series for anyone that has not previously played an Assassin’s Creed game.”
Assassin’s Creed 3 is set during the American Revolution and will allow players to explore Boston, New York and the forest of the ‘Frontier’ zone. It will launch of Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this October. A Wii U edition is also in the works.
