It’s time for an Assassin’s Creed bundle, but not the kind where you get all of the games for 10p. Ubisoft has announced that it’ll be launching something called Assassin’s Creed: Birth of a New World – The American Saga.
Taking the words of Morrissey to heart, this set will “reissue, repackage, repackage” Assassin’s Creed 3, Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD and Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag in one bundle set. Two of the three Ubisoft news releases I’ve seen say it will be released on 3 October. One of them says 28 October. Maybe that’s a regional thing.
Since no DLC is mentioned, I’d conclude that this set doesn’t include any. Ubisoft has also neglected to mention how much this set might cost on PC. It’s a bit of a bare-bones news announcement all round, really.
Honestly, rather than picking up this American Saga, I’d recommend just buying Black Flag cheap and playing the best one of the three. Here’s an exciting picture of a box:
