Being a history buff, I love the Assassin’s Creed franchise, not just because of its great free running mechanics and beautiful graphics, but also because of the different historic settings we get to see and explore. I love jumping into a new period of history I know nothing about and finding myself more knowledgeable on the period every time I play. Ubisoft also have a habit of making sure you meet some notable characters in each setting whether it’s George Washington in Assassin’s Creed 3 or Blackbeard in Black Flag.
