NDOORS has announced today that its free to play MMO, Atlantica Online, has been selected as the official game of the upcoming Game&Game World Championship (GNGWC) 2009.
Atlantica Online, which recently received a large update including the addition of two new classes, features a turn-based battle system allowing 100v100 PvP combat.
“It is a great honor to be selected by GNGWC for a second consecutive year and to be an integral part of the competitive gaming landscape in Korea,” said Peter Kang, CEO of NDOORS Interactive.“Atlantica has had tremendous success in many countries including Korea, Japan, and the U.S. and we are happy to partner with GNGWC to present Atlantica players the opportunity to meet in person and battle each other in a worldwide tournament.”
The GNGWC is a gaming competition that hosts tournaments all over the world, then puts regions up against each other for the world title. The finals are held in Korea, where the championships are based. The GNGWC, currently in its fourth year, actively promotes the Korean online gaming industry overseas.In the same announcement, NDOORS revealed that in addition to the recent expansion of the game into Taiwan and Vietnam, it also hopes to publish the game in China.
