TRION’s tactical turn-based game Atlas Reactor has been in testing for some time and now it’s almost ready for release.

The open beta has just started today giving potential new players the opportunity to take it for a pre-release spin. It’s only running for ten days finishing on 25 September so jump on that now. Everything is available during the beta including all Freelancers. Players who like what hey see can unlock all Freelancers at launch with a Founder Pack which costs $19.99.

Once the beta closes down TRION will be taking the servers down to get ready for the game’s full launch on 4 October. There’s a headstart period on 3 October for those that pre-purchased the game.

Although Atlas Reactor is technically not a free to play game, there is a Free Mode which has most of the core features but there are caveats like ramdomised Freelancers and no ranked play. There’s more about the differences on this page.
