Bahrain Grand Prix cancelled from F1 2011

Lack of sponsors means track didn’t approval requirements.
Stephen Hood, lead game designer on F1 2011, has confirmed that the Bahrain Grand Prix (held at the Bahrain International Circuit in Sakhir) will not be appearing in the upcoming Formula 1 title.
Following the cancellation of the race in real-life, it had been Hood’s hope that the track could be included as a time trial venue but the lack of trackside sponsors made that idea impossible.
“We were planning on putting the track in as maybe a time trial or time attack venue but we can’t have it because the circuit doesn’t have any sponsors,” said Hood. “No sponsors mean we can’t get it approved which is a shame because I was looking forward to driving around the new layout that they’ve built this year.”
