Gortash character revealed in new Baldur’s Gate 3 trailer

Although the trailer of Baldur’s Gate 3 was short, it was sweet. We got a better look at Gortash, who surprisingly may not be a party member. Fans of the game have noted that Gortash will be one of the three main villains. Players on Reddit noticed that Gortash surprisingly looks like one of the silhouettes of the game’s villains.

This Dungeons & Dragons inspired action adventure RPG lets you create your own character, while being able to recruit many colorful characters. Perhaps we can bring Gortash to the party later on, or maybe he’ll stay the villain?

This new character wasn’t much of a surprise, as Larian Studios teased him through a Tweeted video. You can see Gortash speaking to General Ketheric Thorm, who was announced a few months ago. The General is also voiced by a popular actor, who is J.K. Simmons, known best for playing J. Jonah Jameson (Spider-Man) and Omni-Man (Invincible). Larian Studios is definitely stacking up quite a cast of voice actors for their latest Baldur’s Gate game.
