Battlefield 1943 Priced, More Accurately Dated

EA and DICE today announced the date and price point for Battlefield 1943.The game, a more arcade-centric update of Battlefield 1942, supports 24 players across three classic maps from Battlefield 1942 – Iwo Jima, Wake Island, and Guadalcanal – all of which have been updated with the new Frostbite engine to add destructible scenery.”We want to offer gamers the most accessible online shooter experience and the best value found in any premium download title with Battlefield 1943,” said Gordon Van Dyke, BF1943’s producer.The download-only title will be up on Xbox Live and the PlayStation network sometime in June, for $15 USD. The PC version will follow in September.
