The Battlefield 4 online community is angry with DICE, enough that they have revealed plans to protest by closing the game’s servers this Saturday, January 3, 2015.

They have multiple complaints, but most of which comes down to DICE not communicating with the server admins, presumably to help address the game’s many issues.

This is what they hope to achieve, in their own words:

  • Better in-time communication from Dice to admins
  • To stop decieving admins with hidden patches
  • That DICE establishes a communication pipeline with admins which is being listened to

If you do play the game online, consider this fair warning. You can get more details on the protest here.
