Free-2-Play online games are all the rage nowadays it seems.  The latest big-gun (very poor pun intended) is launching an open beta for interested parties starting 4 April.
Anyone who has been playing Battlefield: Bad Company 1 or  2 will be granted early access starting 31 March via their EA accounts.  For those that without either of those titles on their gaming resume, you can follow the game via Facebook and/or Twitter to gain entry on 2 April.
You can sign up to take part via the Battlefield Play4Free site here.
