First up, we have Synchro Cyclone. This Synergy Ability requires Cloud as a partner and is a great way to apply pressure and stagger enemies and bosses. It works simply: Cloud and Tifa leap into the air and deliver a spinning attack.
At the very least, every time I used Synchro Cyclone it resulted in pressuring the enemy and, a lot of the times, a full stagger. That’s not the only positive thing about this Synergy Ability, as Synchro Cyclone also temporarily provides Tifa with unlimited MP. In other words, you can use Synchro Cyclone and then unleash as many spells as possible afterward to damage the enemy further.
Leaping Strikes
Leaping Strikes is a Synergy Skill that allows Tifa to team up with a partner to perform a jumping attack. This is a handy skill to have in combat because it can be used with a wide range of party members. You can use this with Cloud, Red, Barrett, or Aerith. Depending on the party member Tifa uses this skill with will change its effect.
For example, using Leaping Strikes with Tifa or Red will cause a “ranged” version of the skill. Meanwhile, Leaping Strikes with Barrett or Aerith will create a “launch” version. The former is great for closing the gap between you and the enemies, while the latter is perfect for shooting your opponent in the air. Either way, Leaping Strikes deals high damage and is a great way to apply pressure.
Combo Damage Up
The great thing about the Folio’s tree in FF7 Rebirth is that it also offers stat boosts to the character. Since Tifa has fast attacks and gets combos out quickly, you will want to unlock the Combo Damage Up stat boost Folio.

United Refocus is a game-changer for bosses. This Synergy Ability will allow Tifa and Aerith to team up and hone their Focus. When a character hones their Focus, the ATB Guage will temporarily increase to 3 charges. In other words, this allows Tifa to execute more abilities in combat and focus on applying pressure and playing aggressively.
