Best HRM-9 Warzone loadout and class setup

Dominate the Warzone with this compact SMG.

The Season One Reloaded update has added an all-new SMG called the HRM-9 to Call of Duty: Warzone and it’s becoming a fast favorite among Warzone’s more aggressive players. This small submachine gun is highly competitive with the weapons in its class, and the right build makes it even better.

Since the HRM-9 already boasts exceptional mobility and handling, the best attachments for it will smoothen its recoil pattern and make it easier to control at longer distances.

  • Optic: Slate Reflector
  • Rear Grip: PCS-90 Assault Grip
  • Magazine: 50 Round Drum
  • Muzzle: JAK BFB
  • Barrel: Princeps Long Barrel

The real highlight of this attachment setup for the HRM-9 is the JAK BFB Muzzle, which grants it exceptional vertical and horizontal recoil control as well as gun kick control. This comes at the cost of mobility, but it’s not nearly large enough of a penalty to hinder the HRM-9. The Princeps Long Barrel and PCS-90 Assault Grip also help round out the weapon’s long-range capabilities, boosting its range and reducing kick overall.

Of course, the Slate Reflector optic is hugely popular so this build uses it. You can swap it out for any sight that you prefer, however. The same goes for the 50 Round Drum. Larger magazines are usually favored by Warzone players, but the HRM-9’s standard 30-round magazine is more than enough for some people. You could swap it out for an attachment like a Folding Stock to make this weapon even more accurate.

The best secondary weapon to take with the HRM-9 is a heavy sniper rifle like the KATT-AMR to cover the SMG’s long-range weaknesses. Plus, snipers are always good to have on hand in Warzone. You can use the sniper rifle of your choice, but give it attachments that boost its range since the HRM-9 has close-quarters combat covered.

As for the equipment and perks you should use with the HRM-9, it’s a pretty standard affair.

  • Tactical: Stun Grenade
  • Lethal: Frag Grenade
  • Perk 1: Double Time
  • Perk 2: Battle Hardened
  • Perk 3: Survivor
  • Perk 4: Ghost

All of these perks pair perfectly with the HRM-9 since they’re the best for aggressive playstyles and fast-paced shootouts. You’ll be highly mobile and harder to detect. With this class setup, the HRM-9 will help you dominate close-range firefights and win more Warzone matches. There are several good submachine guns in the Warzone meta, but this one packs quite a punch.
