Helldivers 2 Battle Pass-like Warbonds come in free and Premium versions. The only way to unlock a Premium Warbond is through Super Credits in Helldivers 2.
How to get Premium Warbonds in Helldivers 2
When you are on your ship, press the button next to Acquisitions at the top of your screen to see the active Warbonds. Though these will come and go in time, I currently see three Warbonds available: Helldivers Mobilize, which is free, and Steeled Veterans and Cutting Edge which, are two Premium Warbonds. Premium Warbonds always cost 1,000 Super Credits, but how do you get Super Credits?
There are two ways to get Premium Warbonds in Helldivers 2: buy Super Credits or farm Super Credits for free. You can spend real money to buy Super Credits or you can find Super Credits as you play the game and work through your free Warbond or previously owned Premium Warbond. Here is how much Super Credits are in Helldivers 2:
- 150 SC – USD $1.99
- 375 SC – USD $4.99
- 1,000 SC – USD $9.99
- 2,100 SC – USD $19.99
Spend 10 dollars and you can unlock a Premium Warbond. For how predatory Battle Passes are these days, Helldivers 2 actually gives you a fairly reasonable deal here. But, if you are opposed to all microtransactions, you can farm for Super Credits in-game.
You can find Super Credits in missions and in every Warbond, both free and Premium. The free Warbond holds up to 750 Super Credits if you unlock everything. You’ll need to complete missions to farm Medals to unlock everything in the free Warbond, and while you do that, you’ll pick up a couple hundred Super Credits that are hidden in POIs.
Though it comes down to luck, whenever you see a radar in a mission, use it. Revealing and then searching every POI in a mission is the best way to collect as many Super Credits as you can for free in Helldivers 2. Super Credits are rare, so be patient as you make your rounds, but given time, you’ll earn a sizable chunk of Super Credits for free.
