There’s a way to get more bang for your buck with the farm you get during chapter 2. Let’s go over some tips and tricks to using your Fish Farm.

How to best make use of the Fish Farm in Dave the Diver

As soon as you unlock your Fish Farm, you may not know what to do with it. It’s going to be empty at first, so you’ll need to dive for a couple days before you really get anything substantial. The best ways to use this Fish Farm in Dave the Diver is for selling the least expensive fish, keeping the expensive ones, and keeping at least two of each type.

With every fish you catch, you may get eggs with them. The eggs will automatically go to the Fish Farm, and won’t take long to hatch. So you’ll consistently have fresh batches of new fish! If you at least have two of the same fish, they’ll reproduce.

Once you get more of the same fish in your farm, start sending them to the sushi bar. This is especially important if they’re three stars, since they’ll make great dishes. If you have too many low-grade inexpensive fish, you may as well sell them.

The further you get into Dave the Diver, the more expensive meals you’ll create. The early dishes you made at the beginning usually sell for under 10 gold, which isn’t enough to make you a profit anymore.

At some point during Dave the Diver, you’ll run out of space for your fish in your farm. Make sure to keep the population low by making them ingredients or selling them. Also, you can talk to Otto to buy upgrades for your Fish Farm. Expand your areas, or purchase new areas to collect fish at even lower depths.

Overall, you want to farm fish that are great quality, especially when they’re rare to find and annoying to catch. Once two are in your farm, you won’t have to worry about catching them again, which is quite convenient. Also, make sure to sell them or turn them into ingredients when the farm gets too full.
