Bethesda “not showing/talking about anything” at VGX, Fallout 4 hopes fade

No, we still have no idea what that X stands for.

For those of you holding out hope that all this survivor2299.com business is leading up to a VGX-related reveal of Fallout 4, it may be time to reassess that possibility. Bethesda’s PR man Pete Hines has made a fairly categorical statement on twitter that the company will not be present.

“I am not going to VGX. Bethesda is not showing/talking about anything at VGX. Just some PR meetings in LA. Take deep breaths,” he wrote on twitter, after people had jumped on a previous remark about him taking a trip to Los Angeles.

So, assuming that’s true, there will be no Bethesda presence at the show, and Fallout 4 will not be part of the proceedings. Unless there’s some kind of amazing semantic tricky going on here. Or someone other than Bethesda is involved. That’s a bit of stretch, though.

I guess it’s worth remembering that the main survivor2299.com countdown clock doesn’t actually coincide with the VGX event; however, people were still suggesting that Bethesda may show something there.
