Remember when 2K said no more Bioshock 2 DLC was coming out on the PC, then changed their minds and said it was and then nothing happened for another three months?
Me too. But a relatively new post from 2K’s Elizabeth Tobey on the Bioshock 2 forums confirms that the DLC (and a patch) is still coming. Eventually.
“We’re tracking to submit the Protector Trials to certification at the end of January,” she says. “Minerva’s Den has some more work to be done on it still and is tracking to submit to certification in the beginning of March.” Details of a concrete release date for either DLC is promised when one is possible to give (we all know how tricky the Microsoft certification process can sometimes be.)
A patch is also still on the way, which promises to deal with “mouse sensitivity issues and many v-sync option bugs.” It’s good to know that crucial issues still haven’t been fixed in the PC version a full year after the game’s release.
