Signs are pointing in the direction of BioWare’s ‘new IP’ being an installment in the Command & Conquer franchise. An official announcement on BioWare’s new project is set to take place during the Spike VGA awards on 10 December.
Internet detectives Superannuation were the ones that spotted a potential link. The LinkedIn profile of a Victory Games employee (the studio thought to be in charge of the next Command & Conquer’s development) lists her place of work as a BioWare studio.
While by no means conclusive evidence, if Victory Games are making C&C under the umbrella of BioWare it would tie in nicely with the “new direction, new game, new studio” tag used in the game’s promotional materials.
