Multiversus Space Jam Black Adam release

Black Adam joins the MultiVersus roster today, and brings Space Jam skins

The hierarchy of MultiVersus is changing.

The DC universe is getting more representation in the free-to-play platform fighter MultiVersus, as Black Adam is finally swooping in after a delay last week. Black Adam is a bruiser and brings some electrifying energy to the table, zapping atom particles and whatnot on his foes. But if you’re resistant to the change Black Adam will bring to Multiversus, you can at least strut onto the battlefield in style with some new Space Jam skins for Bugs Bunny and Taz.

Black Adam brings his trademark electrical abilities to MultiVersus to help augment his bruiser playstyle. His first ability Lightning Surge will unleash electric energy around him, which shocks enemies and electrifies allies. Aton’s Havoc allows Black Adam to grab enemies and shock them with a bolt of lightning, inflicting the Shock ailment on them. Finally, Heru’s Flight allows him the ability to fly in any direction.

Good or evil?

This new content update isn’t just introducing a new character. We’ve also got some more content in the form of the Classic Arcade Mode. This game mode is still in its alpha state, but it will allow you and a friend to select from three difficulties to fight different enemies. You’ll get a star for the character you beat Arcade Mode with, and there are different stars to earn based on the difficulty you choose.

The Silly Queue is another new addition to the game. This is the home of MultiVersus’ casual game modes. This mode introduces some chaotic mechanics to your fights, such as Growth Spurt, which causes characters to grow dramatically as they deal damage, as well as item spwans and a “shrinking blast box.” Besides the skins, Multiversus now has a Space Jam map as well. Alongside this addition is the new Scooby Mansion and the Sky Arena map. This update brings a whole host of changes and additions that you can read about here.
