Already, Season Three of Black Ops Cold War has introduced two new weapons into the game. Now, another weapon has been added into the mix for you to try out. The CARV.2 is the latest tactical rifle to be added in to Black Ops Cold War. The weapon itself has the ability to deal high damage and boasts bullet velocity, with strong recoil control and a large amount of ammunition further bolstering it. As a result, the CARV.2 is best suited to medium and long range gunfights.
To unlock the new tactical rifle, you have to complete a challenge. You have to rapidly kill two or more players in ten different games with a tacitical rifle. Instead, you can purchase the gun through the in-game store. You will find the CARV.2 in the Plastik Prototype bundle which comes with the Konsole blueprint. Once you have the weapon unlocked, you can start to level it up and create the best class setup possible.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War CARV.2 class
- Muzzle: Infantry Compensator
- Barrel: 18.9” Titanium
- Handle: Airborne Elastic Wrap
- Stock: Raider Pad
- Magazine: Jungle-Style Magazine
To begin your CARV.2 class, equip the Infantry Compensator Muzzle. It will improve your vertical recoil control. Pairing this with the 18.9” Titanium Barrel will increase the fire rate of the burst weapon. The Airborne Elastic Wrap provides many benefits to your tactical rifle. You will experience faster aim down sight time, significantly better flinch resistance, and have the option to aim while going prone.
To improve the use speed of your weapon, use the Raider Pad Stock. Once equipped, you will see increased sprint to fire time and aim walking movement speed. In terms of using a magazine, the Jungle-Style Mag is our recommended attachment. This will boost your reload speed. You do not necessarily need to maximize your ammunition for this weapon, as it already has 45 bullets in the clip.
The addition of new weapons are always welcome in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Also, players expect to see a new pistol and melee weapon added this season.
