Blizzard Confirms Titan Next-Gen MMO

Blizzard has confirmed that its next-gen MMO will be entitled Titan during an online interview.
The title had been rumoured to be the firm’s next MMO after it was spotted on a leaked release schedule, but the firm’s senior VP Frank Pearce has now confirmed the news. We are still wondering why Frank thinks nobody is supposed to know about this. It has been common knowledge among the Blizzard community that this was their next-gen MMO so it’s no huge revelation.
“The media is not supposed to know anything about that. It’s our next-gen MMO project,” Pearce said.
“We’ve only started talking about it in a limited fashion because we want to leverage the fact that we’re working on something like that for the purpose of recruiting – getting some of the best talent in the industry on that project,” he added.
According to the leak, Titan is due in the fourth quarter of 2013 alongside WoW’s fifth expansion pack.
