Blizzard deploys the Warcraft 3 1.29 update – Patch notes

Blizzard is continuing their support for Warcraft 3 with the release of a hefty patch taking the game to v1.29.

Major points to note in this update is the addition of widescreen support, game lobbies have been expanded to support 24 players, there are now 12 new team colours, the ladder standings have been reset, and there are of course hero balance changes.

This update will also be the last one to support Windows XP although I doubt many gamers are still running that these days.

The main points from the patch notes can be seen below and for hero changes check the main post as it’s quite lengthy. Note the patch should update through the Warcraft 3 launcher.
