Blizzard launches Facebook live streaming for all games

Blizzard has launched live streaming direct to Facebook for all Blizzard games.

The new service was announced back in June and it’s gone live today. If you really want to stream your games to Facebook, and I have no idea why you would, then all you need to do is setupĀ up account details in the BattleNet client then click the “stream” button.

The service is rolling out in the Americas, Southeast Asia, Australia, and New Zealand. Other regions will follow “soon”. Mac support will also be added eventually.

Facebook and Blizzard will be pleased to see this tie-in go live, it’s a great system for some free marketing of their games on social media and no doubt Facebook will be capturing valuable data on users and streaming habits.
