Blizzard probe Diablo 3 players on pricing of Reaper of Souls in survey

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls

Tim’s email box this evening was graced by a survey email from Blizzard which is probing current Diablo 3 players on numerous Reaper of Souls expansion topics.

Interestingly enough, the email hints at pricing for the expansion and they are thinking about selling the Standard Edition at $29.99 and a Collector’s Edition at $49.99.

Are these price points expensive? That really depends on what you’re looking expecting from the expansion which is also why Blizzard asked what features players were looking forward to and then arrange them in the order of importance. These included:

  • Raises maximum character level to 70
  • Loot Runs
  • New Crusader playable character class
  • Gear transmogrification
  • New act of content
  • New Paragon level and point system
  • Nephalem trials
  • New loot system

The game is being really shaken up with the expansion but whether the Diablo 3 faithful will be so quick to part with their cash this time remains to be seen.
