Blizzard To Get Involved In Call Of Duty?

World of Warcraft developer, Blizzard Entertainment, may work on a future Call of Duty title, it was claimed today.According to MCV, Activision Blizzard’s Bobby Kotick confirmed the company is “examining” the possibility of Blizzard becoming involved in the future of the Call of Duty and Guitar Hero franchises.Due to Blizzard’s development background, speculation is rife that we may see some form of MMO Call of Duty game.“In terms of taking Activision Publishing into new areas like MMO genres, that is something that we are examining,” said Kotick in an earnings call. “We have been interested in, if we can find the right opportunity, and I think now with Blizzard as part of our company we have access to institutional knowledge and specific context and capabilities that will only help us over time.”
