Borderlands “Strong Offering For Christmas”

2K Games believes Borderlands can rival the likes of Modern Warfare 2 and Halo 3:ODST over the Christmas period.”Borderlands is an incredibly strong offering for this Christmas…We think that Borderlands can stand shoulder-to-shoulder with any game” said 2K’s UK marketing manager Simon Turner while speaking to MCV.He also believes the artistically distinctive Borderlands could be labelled as an entirely new genre.”Borderlands could create an entirely new genre – Role-Playing Shooter. Think of Diablo in a Mad Max world and you’re close.”But surely the role-playing shooter genre has already been created in the form of Fallout 3?
