According to the announcement, OG had hoped to keep the game going but its developers, EST Soft, decided not to extent the contract. With immediate effect players will no longer be able to purchase any Astro items from the game’s online shop, but OG asserts that it will do its best to make up for the loss of the game:

“We can assure you that we are doing everything we can to compensate our loyal players and we promise to provide full support until the game is officially closed.”

Cabal Online players are advised to check the official site for details of benefits they can expect to receive shortly.
