Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered now on Steam – Gamers not impressed

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered was previously only available as a pre-order bonus with Infinite Warfare but now it’s standalone.

It’s no huge surprise that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered has finally been released on its own, Activision would never turn down an opportunity to cash-in on older game. The problem is it costs £34.99 in its standalone form, and based on player feedback, it’s a complete rip-off. We have no intention of checking this out here on PCI but Steam users have been quite vocal since it arrived in the store.

The game is being panned on Steam for appalling PC performance with terrible framerate issues, multiplayer hacks, dodgy controls and more. In other words, it’s just not worth the asking price and any problems that were in the original release are still evident.

Our advice is to give this a body swerve. Considering how excited fans were to hear about this remaster last year, it must be disappointing.
