Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Will Have A New Social System

Speculations abound for fan favorites and new entries in beloved series, but we enjoy confirmed information more. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will have the Safehouse AND a new social system in place.

The Safehouse is a shared space where players can customize their characters and weapons, or check out their stats. This seems like a sufficient social system, but the Safehouse is a campaign-only feature.

The new social system layer works across all the game modes, allowing players to jump from one mode to another seamlessly. Players can jump from campaign, to multiplayer, to zombies without a hitch, and they can bring their whole party with them. Treyarch designed this system after noting that people were playing multiple game modes in a single session, and they wanted to make it easier to transition between modes somehow.

Looks like Treyarch is focusing more on the “community” aspect of gaming with this new entry, and they’re working to make it more convenient to play with friends. Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 is scheduled to launch on November 6, 2015.
