By now, you may have become familiar with vehicular warfare. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer has vehicles in game modes such as Ground War. Moreover, vehicles have been a prominent aspect of Call of Duty: Warzone since its release. Up until now, if you are in the driver’s seat, you are restricted to driving the vehicle. However, it appears this will change in the next Call of Duty title.

Drive and shoot

The tweet from Tony Flame appears to confirm that players will be able to shoot from the driver’s seat in multiple vehicles. There are a variety of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War vehicles such as tanks, snowmobiles, boats, and more. For now, the new mechanic only seems to be on jetski’s, snowmobiles, and motorcycles.

Interestingly, the tweet mentions a driver’s license. Perhaps, the driver’s license could be a brand new wildcard or perk. It will be interesting to see if this mechanic will be implemented into Call of Duty: Warzone, as it transitions to the Cold War theme. All will become clear when Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War releases on November 13. Until then, PC players can pre-order the game to gain early access to the beta. The open beta is set to begin on October 17.
