Although the M1916 is a marksman rifle, it does have an element of versatility to it. After all, Activision has described it as being “impressive at any range.” Therefore, you should find it useful on numerous multiplayer maps with both medium to longer range lines of sight. This includes the likes of Radar and Oasis.

Call of Duty: Vanguard M1916 class

  • Muzzle: G28 Compensator
  • Barrel: Wyvern 532mm Full-auto
  • Stock: ZP M502 Custom
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: 8mm Klauser 40 Round Mags
  • Ammo Type: Lengthened
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Kit: Fully Loaded
  • Proficiency: Vital
  • Optic: Slate Reflector

Let’s begin by breaking down the attachments used on this class. First up is the G28 Compensator, which boosts the recoil control of your weapon. By equipping the Wyvern 532mm Full-auto barrel, you can transform your marksman rifle to a fully automatic gun, as the name suggests. In addition, you will experience a faster fire rate and aim down sight speed with improved vertical recoil control. To make the M1916 more accurate, the ZP M502 Custom stock will do just that by increasing your horizontal recoil control and aim down sight speed. In addition, the M1941 Hand Stop increases your recoil control and accuracy.

Making the most of your ammunition

When you are faced with selecting a magazine, the 8mm Klauser 40 Round Mags is a viable option. This attachment ups your magazine capacity without any significant detriments. By choosing the Lengthened ammunition type, you will see your bullet velocity increase by 30%. To take the maximum starting ammo to the battlefield, use the Fully Loaded kit.

There are a few more attachments to note with one of them being the Vital proficiency. This transforms your marksman rifle into a deadly contender by increasing the size of the critical-hit area. The Polymer Grip improves your accuracy and recoil, as well as flinch resistance during sustained fire. Last but not least, the Slate Reflector optic allows you to take advantage of the added accuracy of the M1916 class in Vanguard.

In terms of a secondary weapon, a pistol is a viable option. If you need to reload and an enemy is shooting at you, swapping to your pistol can be faster. Also, having a pistol in your back pocket can prove useful in close-quarter engagements. You may find that the Ratt is capable of doing just that.
