The PPSH-41 is back.

The launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard delivered a new campaign, multiplayer maps and modes, a new Zombies experience and of course, lots of guns. The PPSH-41 is an iconic Call of Duty weapon and with the correct attachments, you can make a powerful Vanguard class for the submachine gun that fans know and love.

The PPSH-41 is a fast firing weapon that is best suited to close-quarter combat. As a result, you will want to take the weapon to smaller scale maps such as Hotel Royal and the Das Haus playlist. At first, you may be put off by the submachine gun in Vanguard. With little to no attachments, the weapon has a strong amount of recoil. However, it is definitely worth levelling up so you can unlock the attachments needed to combat this issue. This class will predominantly work on making the weapon much more accurate. Recoil will be a distant memory and you will find yourself at the top of the lobby leaderboard in no time.

  • Muzzle: Mercury Silencer
  • Underbarrel: Carver Foregrip
  • Barrel: Zac 300mm
  • Magazine: 7.62mm Gorenko 71 Round Mags
  • Ammo type: Lengthened
  • Stock: Zac Folding
  • Rear Grip: Fabric Grip
  • Kit: Quick
  • Proficiency: Tight Grip
  • Optic: Slate Reflector

To begin your class, the Mercury Silencer Muzzle is a viable attachment as it provides you with sound suppression, keeping your shots hidden from the mini map. At the same time, the attachment will give a much needed boost to your recoil control. To keep on improving the recoil, the Carver Foregrip Underbarrel will carry on providing you with better recoil control and hip fire accuracy for close range. Following this, the Zac 300mm is the best barrel to use on your PPSH-41 class. It increases your bullet velocity as well as range, accuracy, and recoil control. It’s definitely an attachment worth using.

In terms of a Magazine, the 7.62mm Gorenko 71 Round Mags will allow you to take out multiple enemies in just one clip. Pairing this with the Lengthened Ammo Type will see your bullets really pack a punch with 30% more bullet velocity.

Making up for some lost mobility

Mobility is important in allowing you to fulfil the purpose of a submachine gun, which is to run and gun. Using the Zac Folding Stock will see you experience increased initial accuracy and recoil, aim down sight speed, and recoil recovery. Also, the Fabric Grip is useful to make your aim down sight speed even faster, add more sprint to fire speed, and to better hip fire recoil recovery. With the Quick Kit, you will be provided with more sprint speed.

While you are getting up close and personal with the opposition, the Tight Grip Proficiency will improve your accuracy and recoil during sustained fire. Ultimately, this should help you come out on top. To complete your Vanguard PPSH-41 class, the Slate Reflector is a viable option. The clear sight means you will be able to take advantage of the loadout’s improved accuracy and take down opponents with precision.
