A new SMG is in town.

The integration between Call of Duty: Vanguard and Warzone Pacific kicked off with the roll out of Season One. Now, the arrival of the mid-season update has introduced a new weapon in the form of the Welgun. You can unlock the latest submachine gun by completing an in-game challenge or purchasing the weapon blueprint from the Reserved Steel bundle in the store. By using the best attachments, you will achieve a well-rounded Welgun class.

Already, the gun has a respectable amount of mobility and control to its name. This class will focus on improving the damage to create a dominant build at close range. Additionally, the accuracy will be enhanced, so you can take advantage of the greater fire power.

  • Muzzle: Recoil Booster
  • Barrel: 320mm SA Shrouded
  • Stock: SA 43m Pack
  • Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
  • Magazine: .45 48 Round Mags
  • Ammunition Type: Subsonic
  • Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
  • Perk 1: Frenzy
  • Perk 2: Quick
  • Optic: Slate Reflector

Let’s begin by breaking down the class. The first attachment used on this build is the Recoil Booster muzzle to boost the fire rate of your submachine gun. Using the 320mm Shrouded barrel will add multiple benefits to your weapon in terms of control and stability. The barrel is highly accurate and controllable with reduced scope sway and gun bob. At the same time, you experience greater flinch resistance and a larger one-hit-kill area.

Next, the M1941 underbarrel continues improving your accuracy and recoil control. As well as this, the SA 43m Pack stock raises your horizontal recoil, while quickening your aim down sight speed. One of the best rear grips is the Polymer Grip as it maximizes your accuracy with more flinch resistance and accuracy during sustained fire.

Loading your submachine gun with hard-hitting bullets

When you are selecting a magazine, the .45 48 Round Mags is a viable option. This increases the damage, bullet penetration, bullet velocity, and range. Combined with the faster fire rate from the Recoil Booster, your Welgun will really be able to pack a punch. As a silencer is not used in favor of a more powerful muzzle, you can gain a similar silencing effect with the Subsonic ammunition. Equipping this ammunition type makes sure you have no mini-map ping when firing.

There are many Perks that work well with your Warzone Pacific Welgun class. The Quick Perk will provide you with more speed in terms of sprint speed. Using Frenzy instantly regenerates your health when you earn a kill, which can prove useful when you are fighting an entire squad. Completing your class with the Slate Reflector optic provides you with a clear sight to take out those opponents.

As the Welgun thrives in close-quarter combat in both Caldera and Rebirth Island, you should pair it with a weapon that can take on long range fights. An assault rifle, sniper rifle, or light machine gun are all strong primary weapon options. Following the nerf to the Bren, the STG 44 continues to be a reliable choice.
