Warzone win glitch

Call of Duty: Warzone glitch is awarding players the win before landing

A fast way to get the victory.

It can be accurate to say that Call of Duty: Warzone has its fair share of glitches. At the time of writing, the developer is working on a fix to stop some of the most prominent issues. Included is the bug which causes you to freeze when grabbing your loadout, and let’s not forget the undying infinite stim glitch. Now, a new glitch has emerged, and it may be one of the strangest so far. Similar to the majority of other battle royales, Warzone requires you to drop down into the map. However, said glitch is giving players the win, even before they even land in Verdansk.

A fan shared a clip of the glitch in action on Reddit. As you can see below, the squad decided to land at the Military Base. While they were dropping in, the team was awarded a Warzone victory without even landing or firing a single shot. It’s unknown if the whole lobby was awarded with the win, or if it was just the team affected by the glitch.

Thankfully, some players managed to see the funny side. Although, one commenter outlined that they were surprised that the lobby did not think they were cheating and utilized the option to report them. Due to the prevalence of cheaters in Warzone, it’s likely that some players were at least a little suspicious.

How significant is this Warzone win glitch?

Compared to other bugs and glitches, the glitch awarding players with the win is not overly problematic. It is certainly a unique way of racking up Warzone victories. Despite this, it may become more frustrating if it happens in the middle of a game. It will be interesting to see how the developer addresses this issue. Until then, you can keep track of what glitches the developers are working on by visiting the Warzone Trello Board.
