What happens when you run a car with a corkscrew dick on the front of it into the side of another car? Carmageddon: Reincarnation happens. Stainless Games has released a promotional video chock-full with vehicles in urgent need of mechanical attention as a precursor to the Kickstarted title weaving its way to Steam’s Early Access.
That Early Access date is 27 March (no price point yet, though you can still back the game at $20.00 USD and get Early Access.) Kickstarter backers will get to mess about with whatever build-state Carmageddon: Reincarnation is in a couple of weeks before that date.
“This time we could finally do the stuff that we wanted to do 17 years ago,” says Stainless CEO Patrick Buckland. “More blood was the main thing. Rivers of livers – that’s what we wanted. Being publisher as well as developer means we get to be stupid. Properly, professionally stupid.”
So that, and the destruction present in the trailer below, is what you have to look forward to.
