CD Projekt Red to Announce “Second AAA RPG” Tomorrow

CD Projekt Red have clarified to Eurogamer that tomorrows big announcement is not going to be related to The Witcher. People have been speculating that the announcement could be for a port of the original The Witcher: Rise of the White Wolf for either the Playstation 3 or Xbox 360.

This is certainly not the case. CD Projekt Red have confirmed that they will actually be unveiling their ” second AAA RPG”. This new RPG seemingly will be set in a rather different world to that of The Witcher franchise as well, since the game will is related to the gun icon found on CD Projekt Red’s career page on cdpred.com. So tomorrow we will be getting the “the first bit of information” on the new title.

CD Projekt Red said:

“We are gearing up for our upcoming conference and we have encountered some speculations concerning what we will be announcing.

“We would like to share some light about what will happen tomorrow. In regard to the Witcher, we are planning some surprises for the second half of the year and for the next year, but during the conference we will sum-up The Witcher and Witcher 2 Enhanced Edition also, we will give a bunch of new information. To make it really clear – we will not be announcing Witcher 1 for consoles.

“The major announcement on the conference tomorrow is related to the gun icon on cdpred.com career page. We will give you the first bit of information about our second AAA RPG in development.
