Ceres launches Homeworld-inspired space tactics onto Steam

Tryggvi Hákonarson’s Ceres has launched on Steam today, accompanied by a bit of a potted history of the game’s development from the creator himself. What started life as a Homeworld ‘clone’ eventually took on a tactical space combat life of its own.

Hákonarson admits he needed the help of publisher Iceberg Interactive (and their QA teams) to get Ceres into shape for release across 3-4 months of intense bug-fixing, and the release build is now available.
