You’ve only got the rest of today to put in some time with those spooky Halloween titles. That is, if you haven’t already been playing horror games throughout the year already. There’s a little something for everyone on Steam these days. That’s especially the case if your wallet isn’t bursting at the seams with dough. If you’re like me, with a wallet full of receipts, then you’ll probably appreciate a title like Apparition on sale in Steam’s Early Access.

Seeing things

In Apparition, you command a Spirit Board, a device that is known to communicate with the dead. You’ll summon these ghosts and demonic entities by feeding them questions. And what would a Halloween title be without a forest? In the case of Apparition, the story takes place in the fictional woods of Green Creek. It is your goal to record the appearances of these beings on your investigative devices and prove their existence.

Bundled buys

If you really want to lean into the holiday, you’re in luck. It looks like Apparition isn’t the only title getting a discount on Valve’s digital platform. There are two separate bundles that include Apparition, plus other games. The first bundle discounts 11 different titles and has a price of U$S18.23. But, if you’re looking to spend less and still wind up with more than a few games to play, the other available bundle includes four games and chimes in at US$7.61. The three other titles included in this four-game bundle are Inner Voices, Dream Alone, and Dead Climb.

Apparition is currently available on Steam Early Access. The bundle sale is live for the next 20 hours. If that has raised your brow, then check out the hardware requirements below.
