Wouldn’t it be nice to play a game for once without some arse hacking the game to get the upper hand in a fire fight. TRION’s Defiance is the latest online game to be taken advantage of with some gamers utilising aim bots, performing lovely one-shot kills on bosses/players and there even appears to be a radar hack that detects cloaked players on PvP.

TRION are aware of the problem and responded with the following statement:

Just to jump in… We take Hacking and Cheating very seriously and our team is working to suspend and ban players who are verified offenders. We will continue to take action against players across the board. Our anti-cheat measures are both client side and server side and we are beefing up on all aspects around this.

We appreciate all the feedback and reports that the community has been sending our way around Hackers / Cheater. In most cases these players are truly cheating. In other cases, users were simply getting out played. To report cheaters please contact our Customer Support team at this link: with as much proof as possible.

Where this really matters is in the game’s PvP and also at the Arkfall events.  The video below is a prime example of what’s going on in PvP with one-shot kills.

Thanks Steam and Reddit.
