Check Out Pictures of the Ataribox Joystick

In case you didn’t already know, Atari will be releasing a new console soon. Yes, you read that correctly: Atari is coming out with a new system. It was announced a few months ago as the ‘Ataribox’, which will be a Linux-powered machine intended to be connected to a TV for a console-like gaming experience.

The company has not released a whole lot of details about the upcoming system yet, and mostly just been teasing. Speaking of which, some new photos for a redesigned retro-Atari joystick for the Ataribox have been released:

The retro aesthetic of the controller matches the design of the system itself (pictured above). The Ataribox is set to launch sometime in Spring 2018 and will cost about $300.
