Paradox has announced it is inviting applications for the closed beta of Warlock: Master of the Arcane. What’s that, you ask? Well, it’s an “innovative turn-based strategy game” featuring “powerful, empire-building mages as they war for dominance” according to this here press release. Have a peek at the trailer (below) for more details, and a shameless Sean Connery impression.
Warlock is set in Ardania, the universe from the Majesty series of games, and is aiming for a second quarter release in 2012. Applications for the closed beta are being accepted from 7 December to 14 December, with the ‘winners’ contacted by email on 16 December.
