Warner Bros and Codemasters have stated that Lord of the Rings Online will still be distributed and run by Codemasters in Europe.This follows the news earlier this week that Warner Bros had acquired Turbine Entertainment, the company that developed Lord of the Rings Online.Warner Bros Interactive president Martin Tremblay told Eurogamer “Turbine will continue to work with Codemasters in Europe on distribution of The Lord of the Rings Online game.”A Codemasters spokesperson also chipped in, adding that the acquisition is “very positive” and noting “The move will not impact European players where Codemasters Online retains co-publishing and operator rights for The Lord of the Rings Online.”So there you have it. Nothing to worry about, European players: things will proceed as normal.
