Codemasters has revealed it plans to release another game in the Colin McRae DiRT series.

The developer’s vice president Gavin Cheshire outed the sequel in an interview with Edge, while discussing the role of British publishers in the industry.

“Really, it’s all about letting the teams just innovate,” said Cheshire, explaining how Codies has remained at the top of  the list of British publishers.

“There’s some great stuff coming from Birmingham that’s going into Dirt 3, and obviously you’ve seen Bodycount.”
