Nexon is bringing the undead to Counter-Strike in Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies.

Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies is a free-to-play title made in partnership with Valve, which changes up the game by… well, by adding zombies. You could tell that from the name, right?

Expect new game modes, new weapons, and fast zombies that’ll screw with your terrorist-blasting. It’s apparently based around Nexon’s experience with making CS Online, so if nothing else they’ve got some idea of what they’re doing. You’ll also be able to play the “original Counter-Strike experience”, as modes like Hostage Rescue and Bomb Defusal will still be in.

“Today we are announcing the latest creation from Nexon in the Counter-Strike world, one that builds upon years of success in developing CS Online for Asia,” said Valve’s Doug Lombardi. “This title showcases that work in new, zombie, and classic form.”

Counter-Strike Nexon: Zombies is due to hit Steam this autumn.
