This CRPG will thrust players into a world where technology meets magic in a game that’s been inspired by classics such as Baldur’s Gate and Might & Magic. Players guide a band of heroes through the Tower of Time with around 30 hours worth of gameplay.

One of the main features Event Horizon is touting is the Arrow-Time mechanic which they describe as bullet-time for CRPGs. Players can slow down time or pause the combat to make strategic decisions.

Characters all come with unique spells and abilities which level up as they progress with a mix of up to four class-specific offensive and defensive spells. The drawing of on-screen gestures for some skills also looks pretty neat and that can be seen in the new gameplay trailer below.

There’s plenty of loot on offer too, the game’s random loot system comes with over 100,000 possible combinations. With 100 enemy types and 500 possible skill tree upgrades, there’s a load of customisation.

So far feedback on Steam has been positive and this is a game to watch out for if you love a good old CRPG. Tower of Time is expected to release in April.
