Crusader Kings II gets all genealogical

The latest developer monologue video for Crusader Kings II wants to explain medieval family trees to you.
I love all the Crusader Kings II promo stuff. It’s like anti-advertising. As if the game is taking you quietly aside and saying “look son, if you can’t get interested in medieval family trees this title just isn’t for you.”
The videos are free of anything even resembling a fancy effect or tricky edits. Hell, in this one the guy (game designer Chris King) even sounds a bit nervous. Like a real person and everything. It’s all very endearing.
Crusader Kings II is due for release in early-ish 2012 on PC. In it, you’ll try to nurture a powerful medieval dynasty; and if that doesn’t sound like the best thing ever then I just can’t understand you.
