Players will create a squad of mercanries and take on other players around maps divided into hexagons. It will be up to the player to also keep their squad in check and stop them from deserting, causing tension and stealing. The usual stuff that happens when an unruly band of warriors get together.

There will be unit customisation, new unit acquisition and items to augment a player’s group. The game will launch with three armies, the undead Ram, the noble knights of the Lion and the predatory Wolfen.

Dogs of War Online will be released some time during the second quarter of this year.
